LeManuel Barnett (pictured above) stands in front the J. Ed Turner Road Pedestrian
Connection to Longleaf Road in Forrest County, Ms. were Barnett Concrete Work
is the prime contractor. The firm started this Department of Transportation (“DOT”)
Local Public Agency (“LPA”) project in mid-February 2020. The completed project
will provide a paved riding and walking rail along J Ed Turner Drive that will give
pedestrians an additional safe pathway to the Longleaf Trace.
