       with two  lion-head handles and with decoration of imaginary beasts  against
       waves, the  cover  with dragons  and  phoenixes  amidst  clouds

       Qing  dynasty,  Kangxi  period  (1662-1722)
       Cast  bronze with  cast  decoration,  with cold-worked  details,  and with  a
       cast thread-relief  mark  in standard-script  (kaishu) characters  reading  Da
       Ming  Xuandenian  zhi  in a recessed  rectangular  cartouche  on the  base
       15.8 centimeter  diameter
