Qing dynasty, Qianlong period, second half eighteenth century
Assembled body of hammered and turned bronze with cold-worked
decoration and with a chiseled relief mark in standard-script (kaishu)
characters reading Qiarilorignian zao in a recessed square cartouche on
the base, the interior of the box and cover lined with pewter
