                       with strapwork-dragon  decor

                       Qing dynasty,  Qianlong  period,  probably  last quarter  eighteenth  century
                       Cast  bronze with  cast  and cold-worked  decoration,  applied  gold  splashes,
                       with  localized  applications  of grayish-brown  coating,  and with  an  incised
                       intaglio  mark  in standard-script  (kaishu) characters  reading  Qiarilongnian
                       zhi  on the  countersunk  base  of the  larger  vase
                       8.9 centimeter  height
