with two handles in the form of stylized dragons and with taotie decor
Ming to Qing dynasty, seventeenth century
Cast bronze with decoration inlaid in silver wire and in sheet gold and silver,
with induced surface color, with a cast mark in thread-relief standard-
script (kaishu) characters reading Da Ming Xuandenian zhi in a recessed
rectangular cartouche on the base, and with a second mark inlaid in silver
wire in clerical-script (lishu) characters reading Shisou also on the base
