A RARE GILT-LACQUERED TIBETAN-
STYLE EWER AND COVER
YONGZHENG PERIOD (1723-1735)
The cylindrical body is divided into three sections by raised
bands, decorated with floral scrolls. The body is incised
and decorated in gilt and silver with traces of red lacquer,
with a floral design, all on a gilded speckled ground. The
circular cover is further decorated with lotus growing from a
meandering stem.
