A GILT-BRONZE BOX AND COVER

QIANLONG INCISED FOUR-CHARACTER MARK WITHIIN A DOUBLE SQUARE AND OF THE
PERIOD (1736-1795)
The box is of circular form resting on a flat base, cast on the sides with kui dragons against
a diaper ground and ruyiscrolls on the everted lobed rim. The domed cover is similarly
decorated with bats and surmounted by a lotus bud finial.
