The exterior of the brush pot is carved with S. Little, Spirit Stones of China, the Ian and
a scene of a lady seated in a garden holding Susan Wilson Collection of Chinese Stones,
a prunus branch, with rocky outcrops Paintings, and Related Scholars’ Objects,
separating it from an interior scene of a Chicago, 1999, no. 54.
pavilion, and depicting a table set with an
incense holder, censer, scroll pot, and vase 清十八世紀 竹雕仕女圖筆筒
with lingzhi, all above three short feet and a
concave base.
