The style and design of the present pair of
rock crystal cup derives from the Khitan
‘Spring Water and Autumn Mountain’ themes
of the Liao and Jin dynasties that remained
popular in the Yuan dynasty. Compare a Yuan
dynasty green jade ‘wild goose’ cup in the
Qing Court Collection, illustrated by Yang
Boda, Zhongzhongguo yuqi quanji, Shijia
Zhuang, 2005, p.481, no.183.
兩件形制相同，皆為水晶整挖成來通杯形
狀，底部則雕成回首大雁頭頸，用刀簡潔而
自有神采。
此對雁柄杯屬遼金時期春水秋山一類北方遊
牧民族風格，一直延續到元代，可比較北
京故宮博物院藏一件元代青玉雁柄杯形制設
計與本對頗似，見楊伯達編，《中國玉器全
集》，石家莊，2005年，卷中，頁481，編
號183。
