                               The twelfth month with a flowering prunus shrub (mei) and narcissus and bamboo,
                                     making up three of the ‘Four Gentlemen’ sprouting from rockwork.
                                                Suyan xuening shu, qingxiang feng manzhi.
                                            The prunus blossom is pure like snow on the tree,
                                          Its subtle fragrance is like a breeze amongst its branches.
