           Between the Thunder and the Rain, Asian Art Museum Chong-Moon   relationship between the artist and Shu Meipu. The peach is a
           Lee Center for Asian Art and Culture, San Francisco, California,   symbol of longevity and prosperity. The painting would have been an
           October 25, 2000-January 14, 2001                 appropriate birthday gift from the artist to Shu Meipu.
           《風雲際會:從鴉片戰爭到「文革」(1840-1979)的中國繪畫》,
           亞洲藝術博物館,舊金山,加州,2000年10月25日至2001年1月14日  從題跋可知,本幅為題獻”梅圃”之作。該”梅圃”或為舒柟(字梅圃)
                                                             。據説二人在趙之謙任職江西時相識。趙之謙其他作品中亦常有題獻
                                                             梅圃之作,如北京故宮博物院所藏巨幅《墨松圖》。趙、舒二人間亦
           The painting is dedicated to Meipu (梅圃), who may be Shu Nan (舒柟),  有書信存世,其中一批曾現身於中國嘉德2010年11月23日秋季拍賣會
           who used the courtesy name Meipu. It was said the two met in Jiangxi   上。足見二人關係密切。蟠桃象徵長壽,因此本扇面或為趙之謙為舒
