A RARE PAIR OF GREEN ENAMELLED
‘DRAGON’ SAUCER DISHES
Qianlong seal marks and of the period
Each decorated in the well with an underglaze-blue
and green enamelled circular border enclosing a
sinuous five-clawed dragon pursuing the flaming
pearl amidst fire scrolls, the rim similarly decorated
with a narrow border on the interior and exterior, the
rounded everted sides decorated with two pacing
five-clawed dragons pursuing the flaming pearl
amidst fire scrolls.
The larger, 17.8cm (7in) diam. (2).
