The exterior of the elongated rounded body is elaborately 入藏於1910年以前

of the base. The domed cover is similarly decorated with scrolling
lotus, surmounted by a gilt dragon finial.

A Qianlong-marked censer of the same design and size, possibly a pair
to the current example, was in the Qing Court Collection, now in the
Palace Museum, Beijing, illustrated in Compendium of Collections in the
Palace Museum –Enamels, vol. 2, no. 204 (fig. 1).
