                                             The Eight Great Sights of Yanjing

                                             Each leaf inscribed and two leaves signed, with a total of fourteen
                                             seals of the artist

                                             $10,000-15,000

                                             Born in Ningxiang, Hunan, Liu Yin (Qing Dynasty) enjoyed
                                             painting and writing calligraphy, as well as playing music and
                                             reciting poetry. He was close friends with Hu Dayuan (1778-
                                             1841), Peng Jun (1769-1833), Shi Cheng and Deng Xianhe
                                             (1777-1851). Liu Yin was once invited to the Ruyi Hall to paint
                                             for the Imperial Palace and Eight Sights of Xiao Xiang was one
                                             of his most well-known works during his time there. He later
                                             traveled around the province of Hunan, frequently painting
                                             landscape series.

                                             4. 題識:金臺夕照。昔燕昭王築台於易水,置金延士。後人
                                             慕其名義,仿其規制,運諸永定門外。
