A COPPER-RED DECORATED
'SANDUO' BOWL
YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN
UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE
AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
The bowl is finely potted with rounded sides
rising to a slightly flared rim, and decorated on
the exterior in copper-red of crushed-strawberry
tone with the sanduo, a peach, a pomegranate and
a persimmon.

A FAMILLE VERTE ‘RIVERSCAPE’
BRUSH POT
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The brush pot is potted with a flat base with a
countersunk bi-shaped disc, finely enamelled with
a scenic river landscape with towering trees nestled
amongst rolling mountains, in the middle of the
river with two gentlemen enjoying tea in a boat
sailing towards a bridge, attended by a boatman
and two boys in a smaller raft brewing tea.
