A TIANHUANG ‘RIVERBANK’ SEAL
LATE QING DYNASTY-REPUBLIC PERIOD
The rectangular seal with an irregularly-shaped sloping top is finely carved in low relief
with a continuous riverscape scene, with a ten-character inscription taken from a poem by
Tao Qian on the seal face.
