The Kaiankyo Collection
of Scholar’s Seals
槐安居藏文人印章
(Lots 3053-3056)
Kaiankyo is the name of the residence of Japanese
industrialist Takashima Kikujiro (1875-1969), who
began collecting Chinese calligraphy, paintings,
and seals in the 1920s. In 1965, he donated 278
pieces of calligraphy and paintings from his
collection to the Tokyo National Museum.
槐安居為日本實業家高嶋菊次郎(1875-1969)
位於神奈川縣的寓所。高嶋於1920年代開始收藏
中國書畫及印章,1965年將其278件藏品捐贈予
東京國立博物館。
