NORTHERN SONG-JIN DYNASTY (960-1234)                               LOTUS-BUD FORM JAR AND COVER

The bowl has rounded sides rising to a slightly incurved rim from  NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY (960-1127)
the short, unglazed foot, and is covered with a glaze of sky-blue
tone, thinning to mushroom on the rim.                             The rounded sides rising from a short slightly flaring foot, covered
4 º (10.9 cm.) diam., box                                          in and out with a lustrous black glaze with densely spaced russet
                                                                   flecks, thinning to chocolate-brown at the mouth rim and pooling
