Of ovoid form with short cylindrical neck, straight lip, small mouth and raised
on a flat oval foot, well carved and undercut to one side with a lone cricket
perched on a branch of millet, the stone a pale white color of even tone.

Carved to resemble a winged insect on a gourd, with a second bug crawling
along the side, the reverse with russet and orange hues of the stone carved in
relief as the plant’s leaves, with a wide mouth, the interior well-hollowed.

An agate snuff bottle with a tethered horse
Late 19th century
Of compressed form, very well hollowed, with a concave lip and recessed
foot surrounded by a flat foot rim; deeply carved with a cameo design
of a recumbent horse haltered and tethered to a hitching post beneath a
pine branch.
