of tubular form with four projecting corners, each
worked with stylised mythical beast faces accentuated
with horizontal ridges and circular eyes, the stone a
variegated celadon and brown colour

MING DYNASTY
the flattened stone carved as a stylised dragon with a
coiled tail tucked beneath the slightly arched body, neatly
incised to both sides scrolls work detailed with oval eyes
and an upturned snout, the stone of variegated celadon
and black tones
