the cover decorated in repousse technique with a foliate-
shaped cartouche depicting figures strolling amidst a
landscape, the sides of the box applied and chased with
gnarled branches bearing fruits and flowers flanked
by square seals within quatrefoil borders, all reserved
against a ring-punched fish-roe ground, the base
inscribed with two characters reading shang yi
