JIAQING SEAL MARK AND PERIOD
painted to the interior with a central medallion enclosing
a stylised three-clawed dragon writhing amongst ruyi
clouds and foliate scrolls, encircled by a double-line
border repeated at the rim, the reverse decorated with
two dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls, the base with a
six-character seal mark in underglaze blue
Diameter 19.2 cm, 7½ in.

The Tim and Sally Turner Collection, acquired in 2000
(according to the catalogue).

foot to a gently flared rim, painted to the exterior with
two five-clawed dragons vying for flaming pearls above
cresting waves, the base with a six-character reign mark
in underglaze-blue
