          A GILT-SPLASHED BRONZE VASE, HU
          LATE MING-EARLY QING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY
          The vase is flanked on the sloping shoulder by a pair of crisply cast taotie-mask handles
          supporting loose rings, all raised on a slightly splayed foot and embellished overall with gold
          splashes of varying sizes. The base is cast with an apocryphal Xuande six-character mark.
