MING DYNASTY, 16TH CENTURY
The jar is incised to the exterior with large
lotus heads and leafy tendrils above a band
of stylised lotus-lappets to the foot rim,
all covered in a milky-white glaze.

The circular stand is raised on six ruyi-form feet decorated with
birds and trees, all supported on a ring platform painted with petals 倫敦蘇富比，1996年12月17日，拍品62號
floating in a river. The waisted upper section is further decorated
with a floral scroll on the rim and the Eight Buddhist Emblems on
the sides.
