          A VERY RARE WUCAI  'DRAGON' DISH                    The mark on the present dish indicates that this was made for the Princedom
                                                              of Zhao, one of the 24 principalities set up by the Hongwu Emperor during
          LATE MING DYNASTY, CHONGZHEN PERIOD (1628-1644)     the early years of the dynasty. According to the research of Ming Wilson,

          明崇禎   五彩海水江崖祥龍戲珠紋盤                                  「趙府」指的是趙王的封地。趙王是在明朝早期,由洪武皇帝明太祖朱元璋
                                雙圈「甲戍春孟趙府造用」楷書款               冊封的二十四個諸侯藩王之一。第一代趙王為太祖斗子朱杞,永樂二年,成祖
                                                              三子朱高燧封趙簡王,就藩彰德府﹙河南安陽﹚。萬曆四十五年朱慈 襲封
          來源:                                                 趙王,後由族祖父朱常㳛就嗣位。據劉明倩考證,此類趙府龍紋盤器應為朝
          日本九州私人舊藏,入藏於1950年代(傳)                               廷提供給朱慈 或朱常諛的官窯器物。
                                                              見載的明崇禎「趙府造用」盤可見於全球公私珍藏,包括國家博物館藏一件
                                                              (圖一),上海博物館一件,大維德基金會一件,耿寶昌先生著《明清瓷器
                                                              鑒定》載一件,以及2010年3月25日紐約佳士得拍賣一件,拍品1350號。
