                18TH CENTURY)
                Street Trades and Costumes of China, c.1798
                Watercolour on paper, framed and glazed;
                including an interesting ‘crime’ scene
                depicting a detained merchant being led away
                on a steel chain, beside a European and an
                Ottoman merchant; together with: Attributed
                to Tingqua (Guan Lianchang), four floral still
                lives, gouache on pith paper, c.1850, framed
                and glazed.
                The Puqua, various sizes, the largest about
                22.5cm (8 7/8in) x 33cm (13in) (15).
