Zhou Leyuan (active circa 1879-1893) born in Shangyin, Zhejiang 倫敦蘇富比，1966年2月15日，拍品207
Province, is arguably one of the most important inside-painted artists. Hans Goldstein舊藏，並由家族繼承
Zhou founded his school of painting style in Beijing, and strongly
influenced other artists including Ma Shaoxuan, Ding Erzhong and Ye
Zhongsan. Compare an inside-painted snuff bottle by Zhou Leyuan,
but featuring a landscape scene with a crane, also dated renchen
year corresponding to 1892, sold in these rooms, The Paul Braga
Collection of Snuff Bottles, 24 November 2012, lot 11.

周樂元活躍於1879至1893年間，與馬少宣、葉仲三和丁二仲為內畫
鼻煙壺的代表性人物。參考另一件周樂元內畫鼻煙壺的例子，同樣作
於壬辰年(1892年)，拍賣於香港邦瀚斯，《The Paul Braga Collection
