an octagonal star design, surrounded by a ring of
archaic characters, patina encrustation to side
and reverse of mirror.

grapevine’ mirror
tang dynasty
sculpted to show four lions clambering amidst
grapevine, surrounding the beast formed entral knob,
all within ruyi decorated rim, patina encrustation
around the sides and to reverse.
