A WUCAI ‘BIRDS AND FLOWERS’ SLEEVE VASE
17TH CENTURY
The tapering cylindrical vase is potted with high-shoulders and a waisted
neck. The body is decorated with various birds among fowering prunus and
peony branches beside a garden rock. The neck is decorated with further foral
sprays below a brown glazed rim. The base is unglazed.
