           YUAN/EARLY MING DYNASTY
           of oval form, skilfully reticulated with a pair of cranes flying
           amidst lotus blooms and clusters of foliage, with a smaller
           bird above, enclosed by a border of circular forms, pierced to
           the base with six pairs of small apertures, the stone of a pale
           celadon tone
