A WHITE-GLAZED BOTTLE VASE
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
the rounded body rising from a splayed foot to an elongated
neck and flared rim, carved around the shoulders with a
stylised ruyi-head border and with a foliate scroll around the
neck, decorated with a plantain leaf band under the rim, the
base inscribed with an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark
in underglaze blue
