QING DYNASTY, 17TH / 18TH CENTURY

of rectangular form, the gently rounded body rising to a galleried mouthrim, the exterior
bordered with a leiwen band cast in low relief, the two shorter sides set with a pair of taotie
mask handles terminating with a small loop, the warm coffee-brown exterior decorated with
irregular splashes of gold
