A BRONZE CIRCULAR INCENSE BOX AND OPENWORK 'DRAGON' COVER
LATE MING DYNASTY
of circular form, finely cast with an ovoid body rising to a short straight neck, the slightly
domed top of the cover pieced with a dragon writhing sinuously amidst ruyi-shaped
clouds, the bronze patinated to a variegated warm caramel-brown colour
