A RUSSET JADE ARCHAISTIC VASE, GU
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The mid-section is elaborately decorated with taotie masks interspersed
with flanges. The flaring neck and spreading base are similarly carved
with archaistic designs. The stone has a pale buff tinge, with very minor
russet inclusions.
