Calligraphy on the reverse, inscribed and signed by the artist, with 五月七日，海頭西域長史侯李柏頓首、頓首。別久，恒不去心。
two seals 今奉臺使來西，月二日到此，未（知）王消息。
Both sides dated summer, bingxu year (1946) 想國中平安，王使迴復羅，從北虜中與嚴參事往，想足到也。
今遣使苻大（往）相聞。涼西域長史李柏書。
