NOTE:

The recipient is He Haotian, who served at the National Museum of History in Taipei as the
museum director in the mid-1970s. During his tenure, he curated multiple exhibitions for
Zhang Daqian, all of which were well received at the time. He organised the publication of the
six volumes of A Collection of the Paintings of Zhang Daqian, which has been regarded as a canon
of its kind and contributed greatly to the spread of Zhang’s art. The two held a very close
relationship after the artist settled in Taiwan.

註：上款人何浩天，服務於臺北國立歷史博物館，七十年代中期擔任館長一職。主政期間，
先後為大千先生舉辦多項展覽，均轟動一時。他策劃付梓的《張大千書畫作品集》共六冊，
已被奉為圭臬，對播揚其藝術起莫大的推動作用。先生回臺定居後，彼此交往尤見密切。
