QING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY ARMCHAIRS, NANGUANMAOYI

The square top with molded edge over a recessed waist is set above QING DYNASTY, 17TH/18TH CENTURY
a bracket-shaped apron carved with leafy scrolls with beaded edge,
continuing to the cabriole legs terminating in scroll and foliate- Each with a bowed crestrail above a curved back splat carved with
carved feet.
11 in. (28 cm.) high; 30 º in. (77 cm.) wide; 30 Æ in. (78 cm.) deep sinuous dragons in a beaded-edge medallion, the S-shaped arms

with vertical supports and metal mounts continued to S-shaped

front support, extended to a hard cane seat mortised and tenoned

Low tables of square or rectangular form were made to be used (44.7 cm.) deep
in northern China on brick couches, or kang. Compare to a square
kang table with dragon carvings previously in the Feng Wen Tang HK$700,000-900,000 US$91,000-120,000

清十七世紀 黃花梨方炕桌 清十七/十八世紀 黃花梨南官帽椅一對

攢邊打槽構成桌面，外側冰盤沿中間打洼，有束腰，壼門式 搭腦成弧形向後彎曲，與邊框軟角相交。後腿與靠背立柱一
牙子雕捲草紋，邊緣沿腿部內側起線，三彎腿，下雕卷雲紋 木連做，靠背板成S形，曲線形扶手向前傾，與鵝脖，連邦棍
馬蹄。 相互呼應，線條優美靈動。座面下植靈芝形矮老加羅鍋棖，
圓腿直足，腿間腳踏下加以羅鍋棖。
方形或長方形矮桌，稱為炕桌，多見使用於中國北方的供暖
用的炕上。奉文堂舊藏一形制風格與本拍品相近例子，2015 來源
