A SMALL GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF
VAJRADHARA
MING DYNASTY, 15TH CENTURY
The Bodhisattva is seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base
with his hands crossed before his chest holding a vajra and a ghanta,
clad in a flowing shawl around his shoulders and a voluminous
dhoti, richly adorned with heavy earrings, necklaces, belt and
foliate crown.
