     A RARE DEHUA FIGURE OF SEATED DAMO

     MING DYNASTY, 16TH CENTURY, IMPRESSED HE CHAOZONG

     MARK

     The figure is superbly potted seated on a woven mat with
     voluminous robes gathered closely around him, with only his
     chest and one foot exposed, his eyes closed in meditation. The
     back is impressed with a double gourd-shaped He Chaozong seal
     mark.
