A PEACHBLOOM-GLAZED WATER POT, TAIBAI
ZUN
KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF
THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
The ‘beehive’-shaped vessel is potted with a short waisted neck,
the exterior lightly incised with three dragon roundels. The glaze
is of a soft liver-red tone with areas of strawberry-red speckles.
