GRISAILLE-DECORATED ‘LANDSCAPE’ BRUSH

QIANLONG GILT FOUR-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE
PERIOD (1736-1795)

The brush pot is delicately painted in grisaille enamel with four
landscape scenes, each enclosed by a gilt rectangular panel with
canted corners, reserved on a ground of simulated marble enamel.
The interior is enamelled turquoise.
