A YELLOW-GROUND PAINTED ENAMEL VASE
QIANLONG FOUR-CHARACTER MARK IN BLUE ENAMEL AND OF
THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The vase is enamelled on the globular body with two shaped
panels, each enclosing a European lady and a child at play in
a lake landscape with European buildings in the distance, and
surrounded by scrolling flowers. The splayed foot is decorated
with a band of classic scroll.
