A DEHUA WINE EWER AND COVER
17TH CENTURY
The cylindrical body is applied with a double band around the
center in imitation of a tied ribbon. The spout and the handle are
each modeled in the form of a playful chilong, and the flat, inset
cover is set with a finial. The ewer and cover are all covered in an
even milk-white glaze.

A RARE FAMILLE VERTE CORAL-GROUND OVOID
VASE
KANGXI-YONGZHENG PERIOD (1662-1735)
The body is decorated with scenes of immortals reserved on
shou (longevity) and fu (happiness) characters decorated with a
diaper pattern, beneath fruit-shaped panels containing insects
on the waisted neck, all on a coral ground.

The decorative device of setting a figural panel against a large
character filled with a diaper pattern can be found on other
