           An unusual bronze vase
           Meiji era (1868-1912), late 19th century
           Cast with a compressed lobed body and
           flaring neck finishing in a foliate rim and
           decorated with two elephants applied to the
           body, their trunks holding ring handles, the
           surface hammered to an ishime finish, signed
           on the underside in an engraved signature
           Yoshikiyo
