A LARGE GILTWOOD AND REVERSE GLASS OVERMANTEL
MIRROR
Late Qing Dynasty
The high-relief giltwood frame divided into six sections, the lower half
centered by a columned and pedimented frame dividing arch-shaped
openings revealing reverse glass mirror paintings of an equestrian
figure and others to the center and figural scenes to the sides, the
upper portion with smaller low-arched frames with a central reverse
glass image of two figures and a pagoda with figural scenes to the
sides.
