The ear-ringed louhan wears a wide cape across his shoulders and
$10,000 - 15,000 holds a brocaded ball in one hand and touches a Buddhistic lion’s
back with the other. Like our group, it appears to represent the tiger
tamer, po-lo-to-she, with the tiger cub now represented as a fully

appear to relate to the depictions of central Asian figures and tribute
bearers, with their ‘foreign’ appearance and the c-form diadem and
parted curly hair.
