A LARGE BLUE AND WHITE ‘NINE DRAGON’ DISH
YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN DOUBLE CIRCLES AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-
1735)
The dish is decorated with a central writhing dragon amongst crashing waves, surrounded by four
further dragons amongst cloud scrolls within a wave border. The exterior is similarly decorated with four
additional dragons.
