A BLUE AND WHITE TRIPOD CENSER
ZHENGDE PERIOD (1506-1521)
The form of the censer is modelled upon a bronze original with two upright handles and standing on three
cabriole legs. The body is freely decorated with scrolling lotus below a band of stylised ruyi-shaped clouds
and a geometric scroll band.
