A GE-TYPE GLAZED JAR, GUAN
MING DYNASTY, 15TH CENTURY
The jar is glazed overall with a greenish-grey glaze sufused with two layers of crackle, one thick and
dark, the other thin and golden, jinsitiexian, meaning gold foss and iron thread. The base with a diamond-
shaped area left unglazed.
