A PAIR OF LARGE GILT-BRONZE AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL VASES
QIANLONG / JIAQING PERIOD (1736-1820)
Each vase is delicately enamelled around the exterior with the fowers of the four seasons, all below
butterfies in fight and reserved on a turquoise ground. The tops are applied with European gilt-bronze
leafy branches and blooms.
The vases 18 Ω in (47 cm.) high, overall height 35 Ω in. (90 cm.) (2)
